    Hello Todd,

This sounds like an interesting idea.   Can you provide some additional details about what layout assignments you would want to schedule and why?

I remember at PowWOW there was a customer who said they do monthly banners and there was another customer who does seasonal banner/toolbars. Scheduling layouts would make that easier to manage.

My Use Case would target PortalBanner layout assignments.

We use the banners as a reminder of the current marketing promotion.  I build 5-8 banners every month. I use MS Outlook tasks to remind me to change the banner. There are scenarios where the most appropriate time to change the banner is after hours or on the weekend.

I would like to be able to schedule a banner to activate on Date/Time and expire on Date/Time.  Fallback banner could be the default banner.

This feature would save me time and allow me to better service Marketing's needs.

For anyone interested in some JavaScript/jQuery, I use the following logic to change our banner every month. (Note: this is not specifically 'production' code to just throw in and work, I just wanted to put this out there in case anyone was interested and wanted an idea of how this can be accomplished. If enough individuals would like further specifics, I can create something more in depth).
