The 7.4.6 release is the last one before our Policies and Procedures release. It fixes several issues with List Island, Anniversary Island, and the Portal Framework. It also is the beginning of our move away from Layouts and Freeform pages and towards using Structures as the primary page type.
- Beginning with Portal Framework 7.4.6, new installations will only have access to Structures and URL Pages. Freeform and Layout pages will not be enabled for new portals.
- Existing portals being updated to 7.4.6 will see no changes in their page layout options.
Framework Bug Fixes:
Fixed: Firefox - Having Basic Authentication enabled caused Firefox to always use it instead of authenticating against Active Directory. We have removed this function so all browsers should use Active Directory to authenticate if it is enabled.
Fixed: Dropdowns - Portal dropdowns, specifically those in the toolbar, should no longer appear on top of modals or other popups.
Fixed: Page Creation - When creating a page, selecting the page type that is already selected will no longer cause it to become unselected.
Anniversary Bug Fixes:
Fixed: Leap Days - If an employee has an anniversary on Feb. 29th, and it is not a leap year, the island will no longer throw an error when it tries to show the anniversaries in the month of February.
Fixed: Leap Days - If an employee has an anniversary on Feb. 29th and it is not a leap year, and the island is set to show a date range, we have fixed the issue where you could not scroll the anniversary to the date range containing February 29th.
Fixed: Workgroup Members - Workgroup membership for showing employees on the island now includes the roles assigned to the workgroup instead of just employees assigned individually.
List Island Bug Fixes:
Improvement: Drag and Drop - When dragging the contents of the list island to the top or bottom of the list window, the window will now scroll.
Fixed: Speed - Indexes were added in the database to decrease loading times.
Fixed: Search - Searches should no longer throw random errors into the log files. Nothing was ever visible from the frontend.
Fixed: Separator - The white border that appears around a separator, only visible when the list island had a background color, has been removed.
Fixed: Island Bleed - Fixed an instance where an island updated by one user would cause an island being edited by another user to now show the first island's contents.
