Supervisor Emails: We have had requests for when someone takes a course, that the supervisor receive a notification. This has now been implemented in LMS 7.5.0.
When you are setting up a course, there is a new option for Manage Emails:
Clicking on Manage Emails will bring up the next screen:
To enable emails to supervisors, check the first box - Enable Course Emails to Supervisor
If you want to track that supervisors are reading and acknowledging the emails, you can check the second box - Require Read Receipt.
Then, fill out the Email subject and Body of the email.
We have added three variables that can be included in the body of the email to give the supervisor more information:
[Associate Name] - First Name and Last Name of the employee who completed the course.
[Course Name] - The Course's name in LMS.
[Date Completed] - The date on which the course was completed.
Using these in the Body or Subject will replace them with the appropriate value.
Clicking Save will save the options.
