If you do not have an FQDA, you can make that change. This is a fairly technical process, but we do have a support article that can help, referenced here.
(Our RackSpace Users are already set up with fully qualified domain names.)
OnSemble Support cannot answer questions on Google Analytics itself. For questions and support on how to set up and configure Google Analytics, you can visit https://support.google.com/analytics/?hl=en#topic=9143232
The easiest and most effective way to do this is to add the Google Analytics code to a Layout used by all staff. (Example, a banner, toolbar or sidebar.) To get started, select a Layout, download it and open it in a code editor. If you need assistance on Layout 'wrangling' this you can reference this article.
Once you have your banner downloaded, and opened up, copy the <script> code that Google Analytics provided to you. It will look like this:
and paste it into your Layout's .ascx file like this:
It is important to note that this data will only track for users with the updated Layout applied to them, so for best results, you must ensure that all users have the updated Layout assigned to them. Alternatively, if you use a variety of Layouts, you will need to add the script to whatever Layouts are in use.
