- Make sure your email server has been entered correctly under Portal Tools - Manage Portal Framework - Portal Framework
- Under Module Tools - Help Desk - Configure Help Desk - assign the Technicians
- On the help desk island - choose - Configure this Island
- Choose the technicians you want to be alerted for this help desk island
- Under My Setting for each technician, choose the alerts that they would like to receive and in what format.
- Be sure you have assistant manager permissions to edit the island
