There are two islands that come with Employee Recognition: The Employee Recognition Island (the "wall" where employees post) and The Recognition Admin Island.
The Recognition Admin Island should be placed on a "My Page" or in a private workgroup, accessible only to people with permission to manage the Employee Recognition Module. The first tab is where new recognition items are added, or changed (which you can also do for fun, seasonal ideas, as seen here).
This article covers the 2nd Tab, Reports.
This tab allows you to do two important things; create/export reports and delete recognition.
Why might you want to create a report?
This is a great way to see what the most popular recognition items are, who has received (or sent) the most recognition for a time period, or to check who previous "winners" have been, if you use that feature. Any report you create can be exported to Excel.
Pro Tip - This is wonderful tool for annual reviews. Set up a Help Desk that allows Supervisors to ask you for a spreadsheet of what/how much recognition their direct reports have received for the year. (Employees can pull their own directly from the wall by choosing the "My Recognition" tab and filtering, though the wall does not off the option to export to a spreadsheet.)
You can also delete recognition from this tab.
We hope that you would never need to, but in the event a recognition item is inappropriate, you can remove it from the wall. Just find the item in the list and click the Red X.
What about deleting Comments?
You can delete Comments as well (without deleting the Recognition itself) from two different places.

Note: Recognition and Comments cannot be edited, only deleted.
