- Identify Sub-Team
- Schedule Supply Order and Inventory Tracking Kick-Off Meeting with sub-team
- Identify list of all supplies available for order
- Identify product categories
- Identify product types (will be sub-categories)
- Determine which products will belong to each product type
- Identify product units
- Identify all vendors
- Identify list of departments and managers for order approval
- For supplies that are maintained in inventory, determine current available inventory level for each product and threshold for re-orders
- Determine who will be able to submit supply orders
- Determine who will manage inventory
- Determine who will process supply orders
- Establish the email address from which supply order alerts will be sent (does not need to be a real address)
