When installing the EIM client on a new installation of Windows 10, it may sometimes make it halfway through the installation and then throw an error about being unable to install.
This happens because the EIM client requires .NET 3.5 to be installed on the computer for the installation of EIM. Windows 10 does not naturally come with.
To install .NET 3.5 on a Windows 10 machine, click the windows icon in the lower left and type in "Windows Features" and select the Turn Windows Features on or off item in the search.
The very top item will be .NET Framework 3.5. Click the box. If it turns into a square, that's fine. You do not need the items underneath it.
Then click OK and let it go through the update process. This does not require a reboot of the computer.
You should then be able to install the EIM client.
