The goal of this campaign is collaborate with our customers to transform the Strategic Planning Matrix into a standard application that can be used for all customers. At Passageways we call these standard applications our Featured Applications, which come from the Consulting Department. They are similar to our Modules in most aspects but are delivered and maintained through our Consulting Team instead of the Tech Support team most of you are familiar with. Being a part of this Campaign means you would pay a smaller upfront cost and you will be involved in providing input for new features, new functionality, and new ideas for this tool to become a Featured Application.
We want a minimum of 5 customers to contribute in funding this project. This will play an important role in capturing a solid focus group in order to provide input to ensure a successful product that meets the needs on a larger scale.
100% of the goal must be reached for this Campaign to become a Project. If we are unable to reach our funding goal within the 30 day period the campaign will be closed and the project will not be started.
Dashboards Module is required to use the Strategic Planning Matrix application. If you do not currently have the Dashboards module you can contact your CSM for more details.
How Can You Fund This Project?
Details for all Crowdfunding campaigns will be available through the OnSemble Support Center and the OnSemble Community site. These sites will provide all the information needed for you to decide if you want to be part of a campaign and how to move forward with funding a campaign.
Minimum Funding Amount: One-Time Fee
In case of an unsuccessful campaign all agreements will be void and no payments will be collected.
Recurring Subscription Costs
Campaign Participants: $1,000 annual subscription cost.
Future Cost of Featured Application: $3,000 annual subscription cost
Success Plan and Timeline:
This project will be a collaborative effort with all the funding parties to gather the requirements for the final deliverable.
What to Expect:
Once the campaign is successfully funded, we will install the current SPM application for all funders and provide a training session on the current functionality.
You will then have a 1 week period to test and play with the application to find out how the tool will be helpful for your organization. This time will be used for you to create a list of new features you want, new functionality that you need, current functionality that needs modified, and any other thoughts you have for the project.
After this period we will then gather all the funding parties for an initial discussion for everyone to provide the list they compiled. This is where we will move into the requirement gathering phase.
Requirement Gathering Phase:
We will have a 2-3 week period for the requirement gathering phase. We will use this time for you to provide all the input and mediate between all the funding parties to compile the Final Requirements before moving to the development phase.
We want this to be a simple process and keep it flexible so everyone has equal opportunities to provide their input. To do this we will provide multiple channels for you to communicate with Passageways and the funding parties collaborating on the project. These channels will be via meetings with all the funding parties, one-on-one meetings with individuals, meetings with a group to discuss specifics for a feature idea, and through the Project Posting on the OnSemble Community site to use the discussion thread to our advantage. As previously mentioned, we want to be flexible and make this an enjoyable experience, and are open to other ideas for collaborating on the project.
All funding parties will receive the final product – The Strategic Planning Matrix Featured Application.
A delivery date for the final product will be provided once the final requirements are locked. With a 30 Day Campaign timeline we will close the campaign at the end of September. There is then a 2-3 week period for testing and requirement gathering, and expect to lock requirements by the end of October leaving November for development.
Our goal is to provide the final product for you in time for you to go live with your Planning Matrix in the portal for 2016!
- All funding parties will have a lower annual subscription fee of $1,000, compared to the $3,000 annual subscription fee once the Featured Application version is released.
- You will be provided the option to request 3 SQL Queries to use for a data source in the Dashboards Module.
- Fund $5,000 or more and lower your annual subscription fee to $200.
Project Wrap-Up Meeting
At the end of the project we will have a wrap-up meeting with all the funding parties. This will allow Passageways to ensure we are launching a successful Crowfunding Program and to give us information to use as we continue to move forward with this new venture, as well as a platform for us to collaborate with our customers, and enable them to use the portal for success!
If you are interested in conducting a one-on-one success story we would greatly appreciate the opportunity to create an article that we can share about the Crowdfunding process from start to finish and the success this campaign has brought to your organization.
