The Strategic Planning Matrix was a project Passageways developed for Purdue Federal Credit Union (PFCU). PFCU previously used a tool developed in-house that was installed to the portal. Bob Falk, the CEO of PFCU, proposed the idea to Paroon to have Passageways develop a revamped Planning Matrix application. He wanted a tool that was easier to maintain and provided a new look for their outdated matrix; however, the main goal was to give him a tool that would streamline their management meetings and provide transparency to all PFCU employees at the same time. With all those goals in mind we worked with Bob to draw up a design that would address all these needs, which led us to the current Strategic Planning Matrix custom application.
The problem at hand is that the Strategic Planning Matrix was designed and developed with specific requirements from Bob and his team at Purdue Federal. He has been a great asset in helping us communicate the usefulness of the tool through his Webinar highlighting his implementation of the new Strategic Planning Matrix tool and through his session at PowWOW 2015. Both of his presentations received very positive feedback and garnered thoughts on how helpful the tool can be for everyone.
At PowWOW 2015 Paroon presented the idea of Crowdfunding and how it could be useful for the Pathfinder family. The idea of creating a Crowdfunding program would allow us to collaborate with our customers on different projects and work through the impediments, such as those mentioned above. We decided the usefulness of a Strategic Matrix tool would be a great opportunity to test the water for our Crowdfunding efforts and provide a way for us to provide a Strategic Planning Matrix tool to benefit all customers rather than developing custom version for each individual group.
