Documents may throw an error on Portal Framework version 4.11.1 and Server 2012:
In IIS 7, click on Websites, and then click on the Portal website. In the Features view icon area, locate Authentication and double-click it. Make sure Anonymous Authentication is on. Then right-click it and select Edit… When the window comes up, select Application Pool Identity, and click OK.
In IIS 6, click on Web Sites, right-click on the website we are working with, and choose properties. Go to the Directory Security tab and click Edit. Check the box for Enable Anonymous Access. Set the User name and password to be the identity account information. Click OK.
